There are more courses that can be offered during a formal dinner. There is the fish course but (1) I don't like fish and (2) don't know why fish isn't the same as the meat/entree course. Same goes for the amuse bouche, hors d'oeuvres, and appetizer which to me sound like the same thing. The sweet pastry course also could easily be dessert so don't know why they are separated either. Anyway, finished up my Thanksgiving meal w/ carrot cake and a latte. Perfect ending for a perfect - though drawn out - holiday meal.
