Dawn's Rosy Fingers

I got up and had a feeling there was something I needed to do today.  Wasn't exactly sure what it was but figured it would come to me.  I kept busy but the feelng that I was forgetting something I needed to do today kept w/ me.  I sat down this afternoon and saw the little red mark next to an icon on my phone.  Meant that I had a phone message that hadn't been listened to yet.  There was a message but I had listened to it last night.  Tried to delete it but hit something wrong.  Tried to get out of which ever screen I'd ended up at and suddenly the phone was calling my sister Connie.  I hit the red "END" button and threw the phone on the couch like it was a hot potato.  Hoped the call hadn't gone through.  It wasn't that I didn't want to talk to Con but I didn't want to have to explain to her how my smart phone was smarter than me.  The phone started ringing.  Yes, it was Connie.  I answered and explained I had mistakingly called her.  She asked how I was.  "Funny, I've had this nagging feeling I was suppose to do something today but I don't know what it is." I said.  "Could it be you were suppose to call your sister and wish her a Happy Birthday?"  she asked.  That was it!  We had a fun conversation.  I know I said "I'm sorry" multiple times - for forgetting to call her, then calling her by mistake, and for the call surprising her so she spilled her coke (that last one wasn't really my fault but I can empathize).   After we signed off I stared at my phone for a moment.  Just how smart are these things?
