Fireworks

While I stayed in a nice cool house this afternoon and watched Poseidon Rex (fell asleep toward the end and when I woke up there was a shark fin slicing through sand dunes after a biker so pretty sure it was another movie), Brent, Matt, Rick, Dawn, and Paul worked to get all of the firework boards set in the crop circle and wired up.  They had everything ready for remote control detonation from the deck.  At 9:30 p.m. with a backdrop of an almost full moon, Brent and Matt put on a grand and hour long show - brilliannt colors of red, white, blue, neon orange, and shocking green.   Shells exploded w/ a bang so loud it reverberated back from the forest and shrill whistle corkscrews that went straight up.  They did have to stop the show five times to go out to the crop circle and put out fires in the used cakes.  Fortuneately, the path out was marked w/ solar lights and they had buckets of water located around the perimeter of the circle.  Enjoyed the show -  as I'm sure everyone in the neighborhood did too.
