Colorful Lawn
Brother Russell said Walmart chucked all of their vegetable seed packets this week. Both of us were surprised. It isn't the end of May and in the Northwoods, to be safe, you don't plant vegie's until Memorial Day. Just yesterday the weatherman was warning to cover delicate plants since there was a chance of frost in low lying areas. Today I got all of the overwintered flowers replanted and set outside. (If it gets too cold I can bring them backinside.) Also have all five pots for the cemetery ready to go. I know No-Mow-May is meant for urban dwellers but since Sveldfari has yet to be returned I'm forced to observe it too. My lawn is full of blooming dandelions, violets, pussytoes, and wild strawberry. I don't know about the pollinators but it makes me happy.
