Black-capped Chicadee

Exerpts from the Sheriff's Report:

12:52 a.m. -  Caller reporting underage drinking at establishment.  Establishment stated call was made by disgruntled patron who had been kicked out of bar.

2:41 a.m. - Caller advising of two loud booms and two large flashes of light.  Caller states they don't have power.  Dam worker advised a fuse blew at substation.

3:57 a.m. - Vehicle stopped for high-mounted stop lamp.  Driver had suspended license.  Citation issued.  Driver's mother arrived.  Officer informed driver could leave with mother as long as she had valid driver's license.  Mother did.  Driver decided to leave on foot when mother started talking to him.  Mother was angry at officer for checking her license and issuing son a citation.

1:19 p.m. - Caller who is on vacation in Mexico advised two male subjects on front porch of residence.  Caller talked to subjects via ring camera.  Subjects advised they were there to pick up drywall.  Caller advised there is no drywall to pick up.  Officer responded to residence and found two sets of footprints leading to garage.  Everything secure.

1:57 p.m. - Caller reporting that someone went in patio door of cabin and turned on all the faucets.  Water all over the floor.  Nothing taken.  Caller would like incident logged.  Extra patrol requested.

2:28 p.m. - Caller advised male subject keeps contacting her requesting his 1099 for tax purposes.  Caller stated she advised subject it is being worked on.  Subject is not happy it is taking so long.  Caller wants this information logged.

2:52 p.m. - Subect called and stated he believes someone caused damage to the former town hall causing it to fall.  Caller was told the roof caved in.  Caller believes someone intentionally did it because they don't like him.  Caller was informed about heavy snowfalls in the area.  Caller wants to know what the Sheriff is going to do about it.  Caller became irrational and call was ended.

4:20 p.m. - Call received to check well-being of subject.  Advised subject is at residence.  He knows to call bus to get groceries.  Officer carried a couple days' worth of wood to door in case subject needed it.

5:40 p.m. - Caller advised they saw a subject go inside of a building where there had been a fire.  Subject was holding a bag.  Caller will wait outside.  Caller called back advising subject was looking for their cat.  Bag contained cat food.

7:07 p.m. - Caller advised of two bright lights in the sky.  Dispatch advised caller that the lights are the planets Venus and Jupiter.

8:10 p.m. - Caller stated his mom's car was stolen.  Mom lent car to daughter.  Daughter let male subject take car to fix it.  Car has not been returned.  Suspicion that male subject will take parts off car to sell them.
