I woke up a little after midnight. Realized that the cat was sleeping up tight against my side and if I moved at all from the warm spot I'd made in the bed, I would be uncomfortable. I've been sleeping w/ my windows open and the weather guy said it would be humid for a couple of days. However the nighttime temps are getting downright cool. I haven't turned on the heat yet so I'm certainly not going to shut the windows unless I have to. Instead brought out a big quilt and threw it over the bed. The cat was happy because she was now under a cover and I must have been happy because I didn't wake again until the alarm went off. Another sign of autumn - the quilts come out.
