My anti-vaxxer senator in discussing Covid vaccines vs. natural immunity on a talk show stated, "Why do we think we can create something better than God in terms of combating disease?"  I've been attempting to alert my representative to when he says crazy stuff like that so signed onto his official Senate website to send him an e-mail.  I explained that God created us in his image so it was He that gave us the ability to think and create.  As in the parable of the servants and talents (Matthew 25) God expects us to wisely use these abilities He has given us.   Unfortunately this is far from the first time I've felt it necessary to e-mail my senator after he's made a fool of himself but it is the first time my e-mail was rejected by the governmental e-mail system.  After hitting 'send' a new screen let me know that the system was rejecting my e-mail.  The governmental site's error message instructed that e-mails should consist of original material and not be cut/paste from other documents.  No - I composed everything I said.  Other's probably think the same thing but I doubt they would have phrased it exactly the same.  The error message also said I can't imbed links to other sites in the message.  No - hadn't done that either.  I suspected the system was looking for threats in the message.  Went back to reread what I'd said.  Well, I did call my senator's statement "stupid" so just in case I substituted the word "inane".  I also said people were dying because they refused vaccinations.  I changed 'dying' to the euphemistic  "no longer with us".  I submitted the e-mail again.  This time it went through.  I'm hoping the system has just been tweaked to hang up on any form of the word 'death' in e-mails 'cause if Americans can't call our governmental representatives "stupid" from time to time, what is the world coming to!
