Merry Christmas to All

The dog and I went out on our usual walks during the day.   Much of the time though I, the dog, and the cats just lay in the sunshine - they snoozed while I watched episodes of Midsomer Murders.   I left all of the torn gift wrapping on the floor which the cats thought was great.  They would run at a piece of paper and go sliding w/ it across the floor, flip it over and hide underneath, and do about everything you can think of to do w/ a piece of torn paper.  I put together 'educational' pet toys for them - surprised me how quickly they figured out how to get food treats out of them.   Late afternoon the sky clouded over - think a snowstorm is due.  I took the ornaments off the tree (should really give the thing a name but I can't think of anything appropriate).  Then moved it out of the house and back to Mjolnir while the snow is still packed down enough for the dolly it's on to roll.  Interspersed through the day talked w/ family by phone.  Watched Svengoolie tonight.  I might have reached my fill of Christmas movies.  Actually relieved that Earth vs. The Spider has no holiday overtones.
