Calendar

For my 'advent' activity I did the most immediate things.  First changed the calendar in the dining room, the one in Mjolnir, and the one in the garage.  The calendar in the study is on a white board.  I erased it, filled in the numbers for the days, and looked up the German word for 'December'.  Last year I wrote each month's name in Spanish and this year they are in German.  Added in the holidays and the appointments I already know I have for this month.  Next replaced the magnetic note pad on the refridgerator that is used for grocery lists.  Put away the pad with pictures of sunflowers in shades of brown/gold and put up one that has a sweater pattern of green/red.  Finally I went through my candle stash. It's cold enough that I can't open windows so if I want to get rid of the smell of breakfast, I need to light a candle.  Found one labeled 'Frasier Fir'.  Fortunately it smells of crushed fir needles and not a burning tree.
