If you aren't the lead dog, the view is always the same

It was snowing during the morning constitutional and it was snowing during the last constitutional.  The ground isn't frozen so what did fall quickly melted and during the day the sun intermittantly shone.  Bopped over in the late afternoon to have a cup of coffee with Anita and talk about what's been going on in the neighborhood.  We are both hoping the fiber optic hook-up guys come around before it gets too cold but haven't seen them yet.  Discussed preliminary Thanksgiving plans, what happened at the town board meeting the night before, recipes we find w/ ingredients no store in the Northwoods carries.   A cup of coffee, a sugar cookie, and a lot of laughing - an excellent way to start the weekend.
