Received this picture from Rebecca. Today was Ian's first solo. Our family has had our share of people who got their pilot's licenses. Uncle Walter owned a plane for a short while and flew it. I got my pilot's license and so did my cousin Steve Blyseth. Steve's son Brent is a commercial pilot. Now Ian is working on getting his. Far from a family tradition but a fun fact to have at least one pilot in each generation.

Ian flew this Piper Archer 4-seater single engine for his Solo. Yes, Michael and I are very proud parents! :-)
