Installing the Garage Door

Mike the Builder and Josh stopped by early, cut a hole for the missing light, and installed the one Electrician Bill had left.  They also installed the hardware for the windows (Lamperts had forgotten to bring it out w/ the windows).  They plan on calling Electrician Bill and telling him the hole is cut in the drywall and he can come back out to install the light whenever he wants.  Wait a few minutes.  Call Bill back to say they already installed the light.  (Must be contractor humor.)   Later in the morning Flambeau Door Company arrived w/ the temporary garage door.  Flambeau said the door I wanted wouldn't arrive until August so Mike had them agree to put in a temporary garage door until then.  I checked it out.  They installed the bare essentials.  The door is just uninsulated panels.  There are rails for the door to ride on when it opens but that's it: no opener nor springs.  There is a short rope attached to the bottom to raise and lower the door manually if I want.  On the other hand, there are rainstorms forecast for tomorrow plus I don't plan on storing anything in there until September.   This door is all I need for the time being.
