Sunrise - February 3

The time the sun rises is now speeding up.  Around the solstices - both summer and winter - the change of when the sun rises (and sets) is barely perceptable from day to day.  As the sun races toward the equinoxes (vernal and autumnal) it becomes noticable.  Right now is is a couple of minutes change each day.  We had some snow come in so hadn't seen sunrise for a couple of days.  This morning I noticed that the sky was already bright when Whip and I went on our morning constitutional and could tell from Belt of Venus that the sun wasn't very far from rising.  Got back home and walked to the back door (where I've been taking these pictures) and caught the sun as it peaked above the horizon.
