Sunrise - December 5

The 'Happy Face' balloon I bought at the beginning of December now floats only a foot off the floor and the face looks like it had bad plastic surgery.  I was taking the garbage out this morning but decided to leave the balloon for awhile longer.  It's at a level now where Dunder can take a running leap and hit it w/ his paw.   I went around and gathered together other refuse and the dog and I took it out to the garbage can and then pulled the can out to the end of the driveway for pickup.  December was a big cardboard box month and I'd piled all of the empties in a corner.  The cats had enjoyed playing w/ them but it was time for them to go.  Got out the box cutter, flattened them, and put them in the back of the car.  Placed all of the paper bags of plastic and tin containers I'd been collecting on top of them.    Made a recycling run to Churchville.   Snow covers the ground so I can burn paper w/o a permit.  Time to get rid of those documents that shouldn't just be thrown out.   Tonight the 'Happy Face' is looking even more grotesque.   I'll have something to toss next week.
