Neighbor's Place in Winter

 Excerpts from the Sheriff's Report:

2:05 a.m. - Possible intoxicated driver reported in the parking lot.  Determined to be a lost and confused elderly driver; assistance provided.

3:36 a.m. - Request to have law enforcement fix a furnace.  Citizen was advised to contact landlord.

3:43 a.m. - Welfare check for possibly someone in the basement of a home.  Determined to have been a support beam falling in the basement.

3:22 a.m. - Traffic stop for a red Mustang driving without lights.  Driver reported being afraid of people being after him and wanting to harm him.  Meth pipe found in plain view of officers.

10:30 a.m. - Report of a student not at High School. 

11:19 a.m. - Theft of a Grinch doll and damage to plants.

12:28 a.m. - Report of an intoxicated male yelling and kicking a vehicle.

12:42 a.m. - Report of someone on a dating website and creeped out by someone.

1:10 p.m. - Suspicious female peering into vehicles and leaving a duffle bag near one.  Female fled and was found.  She claimed she didn't want to carry the bag anymore.

2:00 p.m. - Welfare check for someone not returning calls.

2:15 p.m. - Report of a package being delivered to the wrong address.  Package was delivered to correct address.

2:19 p.m. - Loss of a Black Ice Fishing shed reported.

2:32 a.m. - Officer assisted stranded motorist who had a dead battery.

2:49 p.m. - Vehicle versus dumpster due to being on the phone.

2:57 p.m. - Report of people laying on a car and not moving.  Determined a couple was making out on the car.

4:59 p.m. - Harassment via phone and Facebook by a girlfriend toward an ex-wife.

5:36 p.m. - Assistance requested in neighboring county for a man wheeling a hatchet around and wearing a confederate flag jacket.

5:45 p.m. - Theft of a television reported.  Stolen television located and returned.

6:56 p.m. - Harassment via a baseball bat through Facebook reported.  Determined two women were fighting over the same man on Facebook.

7:28 p.m. - Vehicle in the ditch.  Determined caller was lying to his girlfriend and did not go into the ditch.

8:15 p.m. - Welfare check to ensure two individuals were not together.
