I heard a cogent explanation from a politician on a 'talking heads' TV show this morning. He said he voted for the current president in this last election because he believed Republican policies were best for the country even though he thought the person running for president was not a good candidate for the office. That put me deep in thought during the walk w/ the dog. Was it better to vote for the best man (sorry, person) for the job vs. voting for a party platform. I thought the time flew by quickly but the dog immediately went to sleep when we got home. I came to a decision but will probably put the question on the topics list to talk about at the next Zoom meeting. Always good to get some second opinions.
