Working on putting up shelves
On the Zoom meeting we discussed changing up the book club so we had to read a Pulitzer Prize winner or a Nobel Prize winner. Found out quickly that the Nobel Prize for literature isn't given for a specific work but to a person for their body of work. So we might settle on just reading a Pulitzer Prize winner of each person's choice. Wasn't aware (though I probably should have been) that there were so many categories of Pulitzer Prizes given each year. There are broad areas - Journalism, Letters, Drama, Music, and Special Citation. Within those areas there are even more breakouts. Pulitzer Prizes have been awarded since 1917. I'm thinking w/ all of that variety and amount of books, we should each be able to find something to read that interests us. Will be fun to change things up a little - at least for one month.
