Went grocery shopping today. Was kinda wondering w/ all of the talk of coronavirus if there would be price gouging, empty shelves, or crowds. There have been no incidents of the disease anywhere near here but people don't always react rationally. I was pleasantly surprised that some suggested 'stock up on' items like soup and toilet tissue were on sale. There were no empty shelves and I found a parking spot near the door. I did ask the checker if it had been a busy day and he said it had been and this was the first lull he'd had. Of course, I haven't seen this checker before so maybe he wasn't aware that Monday's are 'Senior Citizen Days'.
