I'd left the Christmas wrapping, ribbon, and empty boxes strewn around the room. The cats thought all of it was great fun. Today it was time to get back into a rhythm of things. Cleaned up the wrapping paper (the cats had pretty well shredded it.) Put all of the ribbon on the back of one chair (cats will play w/ that for a few more days). Saved boxes that were salvageable and flatten others for recycling. Relocated gifts to their 'forever' spots. That done, it's time to prepare for the New Year. Only a few days left - best make a list.
