The Day after Thanksgiving
Went to see my sister and brother-in-law for Thanksgiving this year. The day afterward some of us went out to eat and tour the Festival of Trees and the Botanical Gardens. I'd outrun one storm to get to my sister's but I'd be driving into another to get home. I left early and hit Chicago while it was still twilight. It was drizzling but conditions really weren't bad so I have no excuse for taking out a toll booth arm. I had an EZ-Pass. The toll areas I was funneled through on the way to my sister's had no arms. I did slow and look for an arm but didn't see it until it was too late to stop. The plastic arm slipped easily up and over the top of the car. I stopped but there was no one manning the area. I didn't think remaining stopped in a lane on the freeway was a particularly good idea Figured they had a pic of the car license (and me w/ a shocked look on my face.) I continued on. My sincerest apology to the Illinois Transit Authorities.

Thanks for making me laugh out loud!

Am guessing you're not the first car (or the last) to take one out Susan.
(But just in case, I'll make you a cake with a file in it.)
