Chance and Cooper
We got around 9 inches in our first real snowstorm of the season. There was a bit of grumbling about how quickly the town roads were plowed and I wondered who was doing it now. No one seemed to know. Figured it had to be in the town board minutes somewhere so went on-line and started going backward through the meeting minutes. There, in the minutes for March, the grading/plowing services for the town were awarded to Meadowbrook Cranberry Company. Interesting name. I looked up the company. They are headquartered out of a nearby village. The company grows cranberries, makes wine, has a gift shop, and a small trucking business. It appears they are further diversifying into road maintenance services.
