My niece sent pictures of her Christmas tree. Time for me to change out the Autumn decorations for Winter. Orange rag rugs gave way to plush rugs w/ reindeer. Took down the spray of colored leaves and replaced it w/ red poinsettas. Brown bath towels, kitchen towels, and dish rags were replaced w/ red and green ones. Tiny wooden mice and trees are balanced atop family photos in the foyer. Knit socks hang by the fireplace. Christmas dishes are displayed in the hutch. Of course, all of those autumnal throws, rugs, hot pads, etc. have to be washed before being packed away. Changing the house 'season' will take awhile.
