Lots of lights on in many houses as early morning prep for the day's meal are being made. Extra work but it has become an integral part of the festivities for the day. In the Northwoods it's also rifle season so there are more cars than normal going past in the pre-dawn hours so hunters can get to their stands before the sun (and deer) see them. My holiday regime for the morning is to turn over and go back to sleep for a little while longer. To each his own.
