Autumn Color

Excerpts from the Sheriff's Report:
1:50 a.m. - Traffic stop for non-registration and the driver yelled at the officer.  (Always a bad idea.)
2:35 a.m. - Haunted house reported.  Residence appeared to be okay.
6:15 a.m. - Vehicle versus bear.  Bear ran off.
7:56 a.m. - Suspicious van with Iowa plates and 6 - 7 Amish females swerving. (Which was swerving - the car or some of the women?)
10:02 a.m. - Report of someone brandishing a weapon and shooting at a crop dusting plane.  (Found out the plane was planting rye.  That's not a usual practice here but the farmer needed to have the fields planted before a deadline set by an agricultural program.)
10:27 am. - Suspicious activity of a male pulling into a drive-thru with a trailer.  Man was picking acorns.
10:32 a.m. - Facebook threats reported after a child became ill after purchasing a dog three weeks ago.  Citizen was advised to clean the dog's bedding.
10:11 a.m. - Male reported medical issue and phone battery died.  Numerous attempts to locate male ended with girlfriend reporting they want to change their life around.
10:39 a.m. - Welfare check for someone who can't play guitar any more.
12:39 p.m. - Two tractor crash.
12:45 p.m. - Suspicious male seen in the woods near the school.  Determined he was picking mushrooms.
3:00 p.m. - Complaint of an incident from 7-8 years prior.
3:45 p.m. - Officer assisted elderly citizen who locked themselves in their car at Walmart.  Determined car was still in drive.
4:00 p.m. - Report of a disturbance of three people on each other's nerves in front of the Sheriff's office.
6:10 p.m. - Citizen stuck in their backyard on a scooter.
9:16 p.m. - Cat owner reported being bit by her own cat.
