Shingles delivery

Heard a big engine outside and went to check.  The delivery truck was back - this time hoisting shingles up on the roof for the contractor and his aide.  So much easier to get them up this way than manhandling them up a ladder or scaffolding.  By the end of day the roof was shingled.  When I was initially talking w/ the contractor about what I wanted him to build I thought that, if I hadn't gone into computer programming, I could have been happy as a contractor.  I've always had a power-hungry streak and a contractor decides which job he'll do, when it can be completed, how it will be done, etc.  As I've watched the building go up I've facilitated between thinking I'd enjoy doing some of the other jobs too.  Today it's the guy on the crane - that has got to be a ton of fun.
