Gorgeous Gorge after rain

It is totally amazing to me just how much chaos and noise children can make at the library's monthly Lego Club meeting.  Once I got home, Indy and I tramped out to check the dam on the gorge.  It's been a rainy week and it rained again today.  The gorge is as full as I've seen it since this dam was built.  Have a few inches yet to go before the water would start going over.  Between absorption and evaporation I'm guessing that won't happen.  However, should the dam fail in anyway the water will end up in the swamp so no one would get inundated - with the possible exception of some frogs.  They might even like it.
