Crow and Vole

This morning my snot had turned a different color.  Can't remember if that was a positive sign in the progression of a cold.  Either way, I've liberally used hand sanitizer whenever I go out in public.  Decided to sit on the couch most of the day w/ a box of tissues on one hand and a bottle of water on the other.  Out the windows I watched this crow catch a vole.  Didn't know they could/would do that.  The crow was just beginning to rip up his food when he stopped and flew off w/ his prize.  From stage left a bald eagle glided in after the crow.  However, out of the brush at the edge of the field flew up another crow (mate?) and chased the eagle until it was out of sight.  Life-Death-Chase Scene - Heroine saves the day:  was better than what was on TV.
