Bur Cucumber pods hanging in tree

The only thing I had to cut my coffee w/ this morning was eggnog.  Time to go grocery shopping.  I had milk on my list the last time I went to the store.   That day the store only had milk that was already one day past it's expiration.  That grocery store chain had recently come out of restructuring so I assumed they were having difficulties getting product.    Today I went to the other grocery store in town.  They also were out of whole milk in  quart containers.  Right now farmer's milk prices are severely depressed so I thought there would be a glut on the market.  Must be some other issue going on.   Picked up a gallon of whole milk instead and will look for recipes calling for milk.
