Tamarack in Autumn

The first act of Nature's autumn play has been completed and the early colorful display of leaves have fallen or been blown away.   Exception is the oaks that will attempt to hang onto their leaves through the winter.  The second act has begun -  the tamarack and aspen are turning bright gold.  The forecast is for a few sunny days in a row.  My neighbor is taking advantage of it to get a few more hay bales before the end of Autumn's production.
