Cherry-faced Meadowhawk dragonfly

Russell and Donna stopped by to visit w/ Brent and Evelyn before they take off back home tomorrow.  Brent had wanted hobo dinners on Ragnarok so Evelyn and I had made up tin foil packets of sliced onions and sliced potatoes tossed in onion soup mix.  Topped them w/ a hamburger patty and a dollop of undiluted golden mushroom soup. Hobo dinners haven't always worked in the past - hamburger dry, potatoes not done, stuff like that.  I'd never tried this concoction before so hoped it would work out.  I took off for library duty and, since it looked like rain,  left instructions for Brent on how to cook the packets in the oven if need be and took off.  Once at the library the sky seemed to open up w/ downpours of rain.   I figured at the house they would close the windows but hoped someone would remember to go into my bedroom and bath and close the windows there too.  Didn't really have time to worry about it though.   Got home around 7:30 p.m.  Russ and Donna had left already since tomorrow was a work day and they start very early.  Evelyn assured me that the hobo dinners had tasted good. Brent had left one for me and it wasn't half bad.  Big bonus, Russell had remembered to close the windows in my bedroom and bath.  The take-away from this story is proof that I shouldn't adhere to all of the tenets in the book "The Gentle Art of Swedish Death Cleaning."  The book says not to keep more plate settings than you have places to put them around your table.  My table seats six (if they like each other) and I'd been thinking of how to pare down my dishes.  When I got home all 17 of my plates were dirty or in the dishwasher.
