Hepatica and wasp

I saw my first oriole and hummingbird today.  (Glad I put the feeders out ahead of time.)  My neighbor stopped by to let me know he would be out spraying fertilizer.  He remarked that we seemed to go from winter directly into summer.  "The president has been in office just over a year and already he's conquered global warming!" Blake remarked.  Of course he knew this would set me off on a tirade against the person currently serving in that office.  Having political 'discussions' w/ my neighbor is just another one of those firsts for the season.
