Whitetail pair

Indy and I are back to our daily walks. Nice right now while there are no ticks. However it won't be long so I gave Indy her monthly chewable tick repellent today. She sniffed it, tucked in her tail, and went behind the table. Not a problem. I threw her a little slice of pepperoni. She came out from her 'hiding' place and checked out the meat to be sure I wasn't trying to trick her. Satisfied, it disappeared. I took another piece of pepperoni, put a glob of peanut butter on top of it, and pushed the pill into it. Still a bit skeptical, Indy came closer, smelled the pepperoni and took the morsel all in one gulp. The idea is the second pepperoni will guile her into eating and the peanut butter ensure she can't just spit the pill out. Maybe the peanut butter also hides the taste of the pill - she looked up at me to see if I had any more.
