Cottontail
Before the last big snowstorm I had used up all of my apples but one. It had begun to go bad and for whatever reason I put it on the wooden bench just outside my door. When I looked after the storm the apple was gone. The winds had been strong but I couldn't see where the apple had rolled off though I did see rabbit tracks. As an experiment I put some of my homemade dried apple chips in the same spot. They were gone the next morning. I did the same the next night w/ the same results. I tried cranberries and they were all gone except one that I found wedged in a crack. Then the little fella came out at twilight to see who was providing the extra grub. I know feeding rabbits is not a good idea. But I found myself getting some veggies to munch on when I went grocery shopping and the celery sticks, which I don't prefer, are out on the bench tonight.

I do not like raisins (Dan does) so pick them out of my dry cereal and put them outside for the squirrels. After reading your blog, I am thinking it might be the rabbits who are eating them.
