Indy and I are getting used to long walks again. Neither of us laid down right away after getting back today and we aren't stiff tonight. Indy found a old fetid deer leg on one of our first walks through the swamp this spring. She remembers to look for it each time we go through that area, digs it up, and reburies it further down the trail. Not sure if she thinks that eventually she'll be able to get it back home this way ... moving it a little closer walk by walk. Maybe she just enjoys the hunt - finding it and reburying it again and again. Once in awhile dogs can be inscrutable.
