Great Smoky Mountains

I'm in North Carolina tonight.  Taking a road trip w/ my friend Nancy.  She wanted to visit her aunt and uncle in NC but did not want to fly.  Her husband Don has an aversion to traveling east.  She asked if I would go w/.  We are still friends so far.  Probably helps that we get some downtime from each other by getting our own rooms each night.  Today was spent in the Smoky Mountains.   Gives one an appreciation for what Dan'l Boone did.
