Shooting Party

Cousins came over for a shooting party on Saturday. Don't be concerned - the only thing shot were clay pigeons (and I'm told quite a few of those got away unscathed). Afterward we had a lunch of cold lunch meat and veggies, played some games, and talked over life. Was a nice relaxing late summer day. Usually I like to give my neighbors advance warning so when they hear shooting they know what's going on but I slipped up this year. Got a call from Doug who asked if everything was OK. Pretty glad he called 'cause he also added if I wanted sweet corn to just come over and pick it!
