Kestrel

Mike's birthday today. We basically started working at the dairy at the same time.  He was part-time then, working before his high-school classes began. I congratulated him on his graduation from high school, five years later on getting married, and today on turning the ripe old age of 26. I like Mike. He doesn't talk much, is even-tempered, can figure out how to fix things, and pitches in to help someone else if he finds extra time on his hands. I also fondly remember early on in our acquaintance when, while driving his brand new snowmobile,  he submerged it in a lake and had to spend the rest of the winter trying to get it back into working condition. No one likes someone who is perfect.
