Mike, the farm hand at the dairy, is taking a few days off. He has a log-cabin home and it needs to be rechinked periodically to keep it insulated and cozy. I wasn't sure what to expect this morning as far as amount of work. Mike moves the cows into the holding area and then cleans their pens while they are being milked. However, things went smoothly w/ the herdsman filling in where needed. Lest anyone think that means Mike isn't really needed, you should also know it took us an extra hour to finish this morning.
