I'm in another photo contest. I know. I swore I wouldn't enter another one after I came in dead last before (and that one I thought I had fixed so I could win). However, my friends were talking and we do learn a whole lot during these contests. This one is a different subject each month - something to get us out of our comfort zone. September will be plant bark. OK, not all that different but does make you think less about color and more about contrast. Funny thing is I came across a bunch of photos I took of tree bark when I first came back here. (It was an attempt to learn to tell the species of tree just from it's bark.) They were incredibly uninteresting pictures. Hope I've gotten better since then.
