I never met a spreadsheet I didn't like. I keep one for Christmas cards. It's an easy way to get my card list for the next year and , in this season, I have fun playing around w/ the info I can glean from it. Today I realized that the youngest person I send a card to is 20 - a person just starting out on their own. The oldest person is 102 - a person also living independently and loving it. I figure these statistics make me, in Christmas card years, only "middle aged." An uplifting alternative to "teetering on the edge of elderly" in regular years. (Of course, playing w/ spreadsheets probably also defines me as "nerdy" but I can live w/ that.)
