I had thought we wouldn't be bowling the Wednesday before Thanksgiving but I was emphatically informed by my team captain and another team member that was not the case. So I dutifully drove through the falling snow tonight to bowl. I was the only one from my team to show - the team captain couldn't make it because she had company, two team members were sick, and the lady that is pregnant is due in another week and is calling it quits (her sub couldn't make it tonight either). I and the team I was bowling against talked it over. My team had to forfeit but since (1) we had to pay for the games whether we bowled or not and (2) we'd probably finish really fast, we went ahead. Not my best night of bowling but fun anyway.
