Fall color

Only had time to set up my tripod and squeeze off a couple pictures of the lunar eclipse just starting before it was time to go into work. Things went smoothly until the last group when a very dirty cow came in.   Domingo took it as a learning opportunity and taught me "sucio" and after he'd cleaned the udder area - "limpio". Carol, the dairy owner, happened to come into the parlor and even she noticed how dirty the cow was. She tried to explain to Domingo that the cow was "caliente" - in heat. "In heat" means a cow wants to be bred - she will get very frisky, dance around the pen, mount other cows, and generally get manure every where. The term "caliente" seemed to confuse Domingo and he looked at us for further clarification. Carol and I both started laughing. Neither of us was going to touch trying to pantomime "being bred."
