Eldeberry berries

"You'll probably be working w/ Domingo starting on the 15th. Juanita is leaving." The boss said. I probably shouldn't have given a fist pump - much less a double - but I was so happy I wasn't using common sense. The boss didn't comment on it and Juanita wasn't in the room so hopefully my burst of emotion will pass unnoticed. Juanita, I had concluded, was sent by the Lord to teach me patience and I was failing the lesson. On the other hand, maybe it's me. Maybe I'm an ogre to work w/ and that's why the dairy has gone through so many workers. Then I thought of the other bit of news the boss had told me. Next week we would also be training in Tyler. Greg, the new guy, was leaving also. Of the four days he was scheduled to work, he made it in on time only once. Greg was on weekends so, since I'd never met him, his issues couldn't have been my fault. I guess I just don't know why anyone would want to leave a job where - while you need to work hard and get dirty & smelly in the process - you can talk to cows.
