The temp today was in the 70's w/ a breeze: the landscape, a rolling sea of green - a grand day for a walk. My neighbor has started mowing the hay in my fields so it's easy walking along his path. Milkweed and elderberry perfume the air. The raspberries are ripening and I snacked as Indy and I traveled. Butterflies, dragonflies, and damselflies flit everywhere in front of us. Can't get much more "summer" than this.

Saw some interesting blooms during my walk this afternoon. Didn't know what they were. Opened up your blog to catch up on latest adventures, and there's a picture of my unknown blooms - Milkweed flowers. Thanks!
