My friend, Nancy, and I visited another church this morning. This one was even smaller than the one we checked out last week. The congregation was welcoming, the songs came out of the hymnal (we did learn a new one but even that one was also in the hymnal), the pianist played w/ a peppy enthusiasm. The readings were out of the King James version (a big plus for me). Pastor gave a great sermon. Nancy and I compared notes again after we got back in the car. Nancy liked the church and Iwas pretty happy w/ it. (OK, the sign that "Guns are Welcome" at the front entrance kinda put me off.) Am guessing we will be returning to this one.
