Calf Barn construction

I should be doing spring cleaning. However, I started up the Roomba and am sitting just watching it. At first, the little gizmo seems to have no rhyme nor reason in where it goes but after a while you begin to notice that it's transecting certain areas in a regular fashion, circling when it finds dirt, and it absolutely loves perimeters. Tight areas seem to attract it too - I've had to rescue the little thing twice already when it couldn't figure out an extraction route from underneath a chair. I suppose watching a robot go back and forth isn't every one's idea of an exciting night but there are worse ways to spend an evening - and I get a clean floor to boot.
