Now that I'm no longer town clerk my mail has gone back to being next to nothing. OK by me. I go in to the post office to pick up what there is about once a week. Today my box was full. An offer for cheaper car insurance through the university. Requests to get credit cards from various groups. Forms so I could give more money to charitable organizations. At the end of the year, I had given donations to each of these groups, organizations, and the university. I had been scrupulous about clicking the "No" whenever asked if I wanted to sign up for other "offers". Oh well, guess no good deed goes unpunished.
