Tamarack

Decided on a short walk so I didn't take the camera. One of the first things I saw was a little fox sparrow chirping in a tree. Took a picture of a couple of them yesterday. The sun was low and shining through an aspen grove. Took a picture of that yesterday too. Crested the hill and saw the tamarack swamp in golden color. Oh well, have pictures of other tamaracks already. Once we got back home, I busied myself w/ things I needed to do outside before the ground freezes and plowable snow storms come. Indy checked out the tall grass while I worked. One of those rare days where I'm not having any "camera withdrawal" symptoms.
