Lately the style is for women's pants to ride a couple of inches below the natural waist. Unlike the "hip huggers" of my day, today's pants don't seem to stay put very well. I assume this is the reason I keep seeing a part of women's anatomy that used to only be seen on plumbers. There are women constantly hitching up their jeans; reaching up and showing their midriff; bending over and giving us all a view where they decided to put a tattoo. A fashionista on TV referred to my style of waist-high jeans as "granny pants". Think it's preferable to be a bit more ladylike than in style.Sunday, June 02, 2013

When I worked at the bank, most offices were glass, cubicle style. Women customers, of all ages and sizes, would wear the "low-waisted" pants. As they sat across from the personal bankers, to open accounts, we would see all manner of tattoos, thong underwear, and yes, lady parts that we did not want to see. We all snickered over these sights, daily, and wondered if they did not feel a "breeze" when they dressed that way. Ha!
