Bringing home the maple sap

Volunteered at the library this morning. The day was pretty usual until three minutes before closing. A lady came in w/ a box and unloaded a bunch of books she was returning. Great. I had to get them checked in today - otherwise, if any of them were due, the lady would get late fees assessed on Monday. I started scanning in the books. Was surprised to see that eight of them were Physics primers. Why would anyone check out eight books about Physics at once? Well, we have two more months until the end of school. Maybe someone is having issues w/ that class? Perhaps someone suddenly realized that Physics is a super cool science to study? Maybe it was Penny on The Big Bang Theory who wants to be able to talk to boyfriend Leonard? Don't know. However, since all of the books came back at the same time (they could have renewed any of them), I wonder how successful the person was in whatever quest they had.
